Please install the drive with the following procedure :

1.

Connect the dongle connector of the USB cable to the DVD-Rom drive first.

2.

Then connect the AC adapter to the DVD-Rom drive.

3.

Next, attach the AC adapter to the AC power outlet.

4.

Lastly, connect the USB cable to the USB port of your computer.
